Occasionally I run across a product which I find to be simply ingenious.
Nice Architects, a studio located in Slovakia, has created a low-energy camper which can also be used as a micro home. This invention both delights the eyes and exemplifies green living.

Featuring a built-in 750W retractable wind turbine, 2,6m2 of high-efficiency solar cells, and a high-capacity battery, this camper allows you to live off the grid for almost an entire year.

And it gets even better. The spherical design of the camper maximizes the collection of rainwater and dew, which can be used to flush toilets, take showers, and even drink. A built-in water filter purifies water allowing the use of water from any source.

The inside is sleek and elegant. This camper can easily house two adults and showcases convertible beds, a built-in kitchenette with stove, bathroom, and plenty of storage space for all your vacation needs.

Nice Architects’ Ecocapsule video showcases their camper/home in all its glory!
I love the versatility of this camper. It can be towed by car, transported by truck, packed in any standard shipping container, airlifted, and stowed away in a garage when not in use. It can even be pulled by a pack animal.
